What does this department do?

The Data Services and IT (I&A) department provides support for SCP researchers throughout the entire research provess, from preliminary study and data collection to analysis, final reporting and archiving. The department has three main areas of responsibility: ICT infrastructure, data aquisition and processing, and providing statistical and methodological advice.

SCP researchers often need to analyse Dutch population data. The Data Services and IT department assists with the acquisition and processing of the large databases needed for this. The department carries out research into the quality of these data, offers statistical advice in analysing them, and develops scales and models for use by researchers.
