Original title: Zorgen voor Zorg.
The Dutch population will become increasingly older over the coming decades. This will have consequences for the use of care and consequently the demand for staff, especially in the nursing and care sectors (home care, nursing homes and residential care homes). This report outlines the staffing consequences of increasing use of care up to 2030. It is based on a recent SCP forecast of the use of nursing and care services, and is intended as input to the debate on the anticipated staff shortages in the care sector.
