Original title: Talent naar de top

Since 2008, 170 companies and non-profit organisations have signed the Talent to the Top Charter. The purpose of the Charter is to increase the number of women in senior positions within organisations. Organisations which sign the Charter undertake to formulate targets for the number of women they would like to have in senior positions within a given number of years, and to state what measures they are taking to achieve this. Charter organisations report to the Talent to the Top Monitoring Committee each year on the progress made in increasing the number of women in senior and middle management positions and the measures taken in this regard. This Talent to the Top Monitor 2010, which is published jointly for the first time by the Netherlands Institute for Social Research/SCP and the Talent to the Top Monitoring Committee, reveals that the number of women at the top of the Charter organisations increased in 2010. Some Charter signatories have already achieved their targets, while others still have a long way to go before doing so.
